Default 2001 XJR calipers

Hi all,

Looking at front calipers (non Brembo) but I see three different sizes 300mm, 305mm, and 325mm. Which is correct?

Thx.

I may be mistaken but I believe the Brembo equipped and Supercharged XJR use 325mm for the front end and 305mm in the rear, the XJ8 and non supercharged Vanden Plas use 305mm front and back. Never seen the 300mm's though.

I think the 300s were on X300 models. My front calipers and discs are from an X300 with 305 mm. So it can only be earlier models... Or the 300 mm is for the rear!?

Thanks. the weird thing is that lots of places carry the left front (Centric part #14120012) but the right front #14120011 is essentially unobtanium.

Thanks.

I'll correct you on that one... Brembo-equipped cars like mine actually have 355mm front rotors (13.9".) I seem to remember the rears being 330mm, which is larger than the front rotors on a standard XJR Amusingly enough, Autozone actually carries the 355mm cross-drilled rotors for the Brembo cars.. Not sure if they have the rear rotors or not.
