Paint Correction and Coat
I just completed having a 'paint correction' and ceramic coat (22ple) on my 2017 cat... can't recommend it enough! Exceeded my exceptions. Detailer is in the SF Bay area.
Wow. That's really ... blue. And very shiny. It's brand new: How much correction was necessary? When my '16 came in I did the protection (polymer sealant) but didn't feel correction was called for. Then again, it's a daily driver so perhaps my standards are different.
I haven't seen that color in person yet. On screen always looks different. I'm sure it stands out from the sea of grey cars (like mine). I thought about a more outgoing color but didn't follow through.

It was remarkable how much correction was needed from only a month old car! Plenty of swirls, holograms, and water spots that were all eliminated prior to the coat. Crazy how much you can see with a detailers light! Should eliminate the need to wax for 4-5 years. I did the wheels too.
I didn't see those kinds of paint imperfections until the car was as year old, but I don't have one of those detailer's lights. I've got most everything else, but not that special light that makes the paint show every flaw and every bit of damage. I'm already more fanatical than I need to be for a daily driver, but I've got to draw the line somewhere.
Enjoy the car!

lol! it is a curse! The main reason I did it was to provide lasting protection to the car as it too is my daily driver.
