When shopping around, I found ETG (ECU Tuning Group) not to be very forthcoming with the technical data (pulley sizes, raw dyno data, etc.).I had a similar disappointing experience with Eurocharged and Paramount. When I launched in with VAP, they did not have any substantial amounts of data either, but Stuart was willing to work with me to generate that data for the V6. I believe VAP now has adequate data (V8 & V6) to share with potential customers. Based on a significant number of threads, you will be able to conclude that VAP is always available and ready to assist to ensure a successful tune.
I don't think enough folks on this particular forum with ETG experience are available to be able to draw any conclusions regarding their customer service.

I used Eurocharged to send me their tune. We had some issues with it not loading the first time but they were nearly always available by phone or email. Eventually we straightened it out and I was able to load the new tune (along with the pulley) they sent me. This was for my 5.0L XKR, and I found their customer service to be very responsive and would rate it good.

Would you say there was a definite increase in hp and torque?
Did you ever dyne to see the before/after difference?
Thanks!

I had a very similar issue with VelocityAP just like tberg had with Eurocharged. The folks were super nice and helpfull but... it sometimes may require a few takes.
I also went with the smaller SC pulley and it definetly moves stronger.

I'm working with VAP right now on a tune for my R and Stuart or Chris have been great so far... very responsive during business hours and easy to get a hold of on the phone if need be.

Just be clear, it wasn't our pulley that you had a problem with - the one you purchased elsewhere prior to the VelocityAP pulley was the one that did not fit, correct?

Stuart...
The "other folks" pulley is 1 full mm less in diameter than yours, and yes it did not fit. VelocityAP pulley was not going to fit either... The aluminum casting of the snout is pretty imperfect. Both pulleys would have worked fine if and only if the snout had beed deburred first. I went with yours because I made the other a template and you all helped me pretty fast with the ECU isssue.

Got it. I am going to see if I can get some additional measurements taken of multiple snouts to see what the variance is. Since we changed our machining to increase the internal tolerance, that's the first time I've heard that the pulley still would have fouled the snout.

While I can't vouch for AP Velocity's tuning, they are pretty responsive in general - have good feedback, are active in the community and want to make sure things are "right". All key factors.

I have tried both ETG and and Eurocharged - neither produced ANY track gains for me...in case the car lost 1 mph.

I use Powerhaus tuning, live on their Mustang dyno. My 2 cents, as someone who beats the hell out of their f-type...call Velocity or the guys at Powerhaus Racing in Cherry Hill, NJ
