Default P0175 that won’t go away….

Hey guys I been having issues with P0175 code on my 2010 XF Supercharged 5.0 for a bit now. Now I have replaced the maf sensors, injectors, upstream o2
sensors and purge valve. Now this code only pops up on my scanner as a historic code after doing accelerating hard. It never throws an actual light just a historic code. Basically the car will pull great but as soon as I left off the gas after a pull the car bogs down alot then returns back to normal cruising rpm after a couple seconds. The fuel trims are way off obviously with this issue. Just really hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

What are the trims on both banks? How close are you to P0172 as well?

LTFT at 3k rpm revs:

bank 1: -14
bank 2: -20

basically car is rich when given gas but goes lean at idle

Hi gretle,

Here are the published definitions and possible causes of P0175 and P0172 for the 2010 5.0L engine:

Additional possible causes include excessive fuel pressure or a false low-temperature signal from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS). Can your scan tool view Live Data? If so, monitor the fuel pressure and coolant temperature.

Also, did you install OEM/Denso MAFS or some other brand?

Cheers,

Don

yes I can view live data with me reader. Fuel pressure is good but I didn’t think to look at coolant temp. I have been randomly getting P00AD-00 (IAT sensor 1 circuit high bank 2). I also did replace the sueprcharger coolant pump with the upgraded Bosch 010 pump. And yes I did install OEM Jaguar maf sensors. I did look at the coolant temps and nothing seemed abnormal and wasn’t getting too hot. I also swapped the maf sensors around and still got the same result. I’m wondering if it’s the wiring to the MAF at this point.

You're looking for coolant temps that are too cold, say 180F when it should be 200F. The ECM could overfuel if it thinks the engine is not fully warm. The IAT signal may be a prime suspect for the same reason - you hadn't mentioned that possibly important clue...

Yeah it only happens recently when it’s really warm out and I accelerate. Hasn’t come back for awhile. And yeah the coolant temps are around 205.

You smoke test for leaks at your oil filler pipe and egr?

yes car has been smoke tested. This is a 2010 5.0 motor, no filler pipe or egr.

Ect and fpr caused all kinds of trim gremlins on mine when I first purchased it, the minute I changed those it worked fine for about 15000km
