Default 2001 XJR stalling and transmission rough changes

Just wondering if anyone had these symptoms on their XJRs before?

Today when coming to a stop, the car stalled, but restarted fine. It then did this again a little later on, combined with quite jerky gear changes and a general reluctance to change-up when accelerating away. No error messages came-up on the dash.

I'd also noticed, a couple of days ago, slightly jerky down-changes when decelerating approaching junctions or roundabouts.

The car has done 173k miles, mostly motorway, but has been well looked-after, to my knowledge.

Thanks!

Yes. I had those same issues this summer. I've been driving the car now close to 2 thousands KMs after turbine overhaul and tcc mod made to it and it has been fixed since. This gearbox model seems to have some peculiar shift "styles" in some situations. But it is not jerky any means. After repair it just needs driving to adapt itself.

Mod was this https://www.sonnax.com/tech_resource...shudder-part-1 and all the symptoms and described general feel matched to my butt dyno. Except that all issues showed only when gearbox was hot.
