2000 xjr supercharger in 2001 xjr?
There was certainly no model change 2000-2001, and no engine changes AFAIK. Only the possibility of small production parts mods might cause a problem but I doubt it in this case. You need to compare the replacement S/c with what you have on the car. Also try internet search for a S/c for your car. The suppliers normally list the model and year ranges the various ones fit.
All M112 superchargers from 1998 to 2003 XJR are the same. They rarely fail but the plastic drive couplers do (rattle). I have replaced the drive couplers with the green nylon replacements sold on eBay with the 2 bottles of GM lube fluid.
