After reading this I told my daughter (now her car) to try it before starting. Was really wishing it would help but it does not seem to make a difference.

Last time we changed to a new battery it still did not make a difference in the conditions.

 

fuel dampers changed and ...... no difference!! aarrgghhh
Crank sensor changed and........ no difference !!
This problem has gone to the top at Jaguar UK Tech support and is proving a tough one!

not sure where to go from here apart from some major ££

Tank out and new fuel pumps is an option but we (The "we" is Tom at TL Jaguar ) is not conviced though

I would think if you put a fuel pressure gauge on the schrader valve you could see if the fuel pressure drops off quickly and if it returns when the key is turned on.

 

Hello and welcome. It'd be a good thing to introduce yourself in the new members forum, and maybe start a thread on which car you seek.
My guess would be try pistonheads, autotrader, ebay etc. But, you'll be lucky. The 100's seem to have found enthusiast owners, and only 80 odd made makes it a mission. Took me 12 months to find one. Good luck!
