Is Jack or any other wonderful human being still doing repairs on security control modules?

 

x2!! I have had to bypass for brake lights and now tail lights and now my side marker lights aren't working. So I need a repair too!!!

Mine just started telling me "Rear Bulb Fail", and I think I know what it means (getting smarter every day, by reading EVERYTHING on this forum!). My plan is to get some Precision Electronics Cleaner from Radio Shack, and go at it this weekend. One member posted that this solved his problem in the original (very old) thread. If that doesn't work,.......I sure hope Jack is still with us!

 

Yep. A question that doesn't get an answer today just might have been answered in the past. The past threads have huge value to an interested diy owner. In addition, you have access to the answers when you want them, not when someone gets around to answering.

Takes a while to read *every* thread, but it can be done. A couple of weeks of steady reading starting from the oldest thread and working forwards in time. The bonus is that you learn who really knows, and who is just blathering nonsense.

 

I tried the electronic spray cleaner fix but it was unsuccessful.
