Hi all, I own a 2004 XJ8 with about 130,000 miles on it. Recently, it started misfiring and threw a code for a cylinder 2 misfire, along with leaking some gas from around the back of the engine. I took it to my local shop, and they had it for about two weeks and said they checked the injectors, plugs, coils, fuel pressure, and the cylinder pressure and came back with nothing and returned the car with no fee. I could be convinced they didn't actually check anything and just let it sit, I have since checked the coil myself and the plug, and plan on doing the injector in the coming days. Unfortunately, Im not super mechanically inclined, and if its anything beyond one of those, I will likely have to sell it. I'm coming here to ask for any input on what you guys might think could be going wrong, along with any potential fixes you might know of. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I deeply love this car and would hate to see it go. Thankyou

 

Sorry I forgot the codes, they are P0302, P0307(older code which was a bad coil which I have replaced), P1316, and P1111
