2004 XJ8 no navigation system operation or radio
the the navigation system is not working and the radio as well is not working. when you put the car in revers the A/C shuts off . and i opened the trunk and found water in the spare tire compartment. the water seems to have been there for a while now and has gotten into the fuse box. has anyone gone threw this and if so what is the solution to the nav. system radio and A/C

Likely you need a body harness. If the water has corroded the connectors and gotten into the wiring, you need to replace it. Not a great job, but likely nothing wrong with your nav or audio units.

have had it before.. you will have to remove fuse box and see how damaged it is if really bad needs a fuse box... and the connectors.. on the harness may have to be cleaned or pins replaced.. not hard just time consuming.. leave it any longer you will have more problems such as air suspension faults and alternator faults.. i had it on a car had alternator faults and the radio inop intermittently..
