and I still love this car. I bought it the day before driving 1,500 miles in two days -- with my fingers crossed, I might add! I have driven about another 500 miles since getting here (I'm on vacation) and will put another 2,000 miles on it in the next week or two. So far, so good.

My observations at this point are that the posts in this forum have been priceless, just like my car! I have learned some things, put some things to rest, and have found out some things to look into as I have time to do so.

Good to hear that you are enjoying your XJ, they seem to eat up the miles like cake in most situations.

I don't drive mine much, but some day I will

my XJR covers 2,000 miles usually over 6 months

 

When I called my insurance agent to add the XJ to the policy, she asked what my primary use of the car is -- pleasure or commuting. I said, even when commuting, it's a pleasure! She laughed, I have no idea what she entered into the policy!
