Anyways, thanks for he insight on the phantom start. It hasn't done it since, but my jaguar mechanic is still looking into it just in case.
I ran into paramount performance's website and found that they make performance parts exclusively for my XJR. I ran through the different items and added them up: with the engine, exhaust, and suspension upgrades I'll be pushing a nice 500hp. That sounds great!
My dilema is: will I need to upgrade the transmission and some other powertrain parts to handle this much increase in horses, and, what's a good transmission to use if I need to.
Any input will be much appreciated, thanks.

Anyway the two of them are working on a blower replacement for the Eaton that we have on our XJRs(XKR's too!) and are using a KenneBell unit(screw type) that will produce substantially more power with the same boost levels and better MPGs. They are looking to sell it for under 4K which is a heck of a deal.
