98 VDP 4.0 Won't start

Hey All,

Man, if its not one thing with this car its another. Last week I posted and ask how to get into my trunk since the battery was dead and the lock was corroded. Well, I got in charged up the battery and started the car but it would not build any revs and barely would pull itself back into the garage, by the way the drive is flat. I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and when I hooked the battery back up the car refuses to start at all. There are a few hints that it might want to fire but doesn't.
Any ideas? All help is appreciated.

This is acommon problem and the reason I asked you to disconnect the battery.
Hook up the charger again to boost charge.
Put foot all the way on the floor and start cranking. Pull foot back about half way and down to floor again.
Keep doing this until car starts. Do NOT let go of key until it starts. You will not hurt the car, contrary to other makes of car, the starter on yours is phenomenal.
