I tested the wiring that goes to the antenna, and it does not seem to be getting the 12 volt remote power that tells it to go up. I have checked the Aerial fuse in the trunk/boot and it is fine. At times, it seems as though the antenna wants to come up, but then just stops and goes back down. Any suggestions?? Is there a relay or where is the relay located if there is one?

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW...At this point I have found another ignition 12v wire, fused it, and run it to what used to be the "trigger" wire and the antenna works fine. This would eliminate the motor itself. Just would like it to be like wired like it was from the factory. Thanks.

Likely a break in the wire - at the passenger side hinge, there is a wiring bundle, prone to breakage there.

 

Anenna leads are not located at the hinge. That's all lighting/ trunk switch latching leads.
