When I give the Cat a little juice, a warning statement lights up "failsafe engine mode" w/an amber light, and the cruise shuts down. It re-sets when I stop, put it in park and turn the ign off, but it will come on again when the cruise tries to go to set speed. Nothing in hand book or manual.
Any ideas out there?

i wud get the codes read and see what comes up.. may need a throttle body or coil..
