I'm new to a jag, but love my 98 xj8. Small problem with a leak coming from pwrsteering
pump. One mechanic tryed to sell me a new pump, another said it wassome sort of clamp
at top of hose.I did see a clamp on this hose. Is this something I can fix?

 

there is a clamp on the top hose.. of the pump.. but probably needsa pump.. but doesnt hurt to replace the clamp 1st

Kats - what did you find? I just pulled my pump out and had to use a razor to get eh hose off, now way could I have replaced the hose in the car.
