'99 XJ8 Radiator fans not working

'99 XJ8 Radiator fans not working

Where is the relay (I have no book) and would anyone know the part number so i can order one? They just dont come on- so any advice will be appreciated.

First, bypass the fan circuit and see if they actually work. Check the fan circuit fuse, temp switch and relay. Don't just assume it is the relay, even though it could be.

Excellent idea- Now...where are those fuses in the 5 fuseboxes I have in my car?

Two 30 amp fuses in the LH engine bay fuse box [large box], #12 and #14. Relay module is accessed from under the frt bumper, LH side adjacent to the washer reservoir. If it breaks away from its clip, it hangs upside down and fills with water. That will trash it for sure.
