My center brake light (the one inside) detached from the window a long time ago... Maybe before I bought it; can't remember. Anyway, I have tried 3 times to reattach it with two packs of the rearview mirror glue - which is how I think you're supposed to do it, but it never works. It just falls off.

Any tips? Anyone ever had to reattach theirs?

 

The only glue I found to work Clear Gorilla super glue gel. make sure you clean the metal tabs apply small amount to each tab then press to rear window and tape in place until glue sets hope this helps it did for me. jrb53

 

I used epoxy to put mine back. But the cover is exceptionally brittle and cracked and broke; so did a replacement a member sent me from a California junk yard. Never found a glue that worked.
