Default ABS control module removing & brake bleeding

I need to remove ABS control module from 1999 XJ8. I found this instruction: , so I have to remove 4 brake lines from ABS pump first. Instruction says nothing about brake bleeding, but my repair manual says that you need to bleed your brakes (but they remove whole assembly (pump and control module), i just need to remove control module). What should I do?

If I do this:

am I going to lose some brake fluid? Do I need to after/before brake bleeding? Do I need to do something special with brake pedal prior that removal?

You dont remove the lines. Unbolt the assembly and bend the lines to gain access to the ecu bolts. Then put it back together and bend them back. You know they were bent to make them so they bend easily to get them out of the way.

What do you mean "unbolt the assembly"? Just to do that step, without removing brake tubes before?

No, Brutal means remove the module from the side of the pump after making space to do so by bending the brake lines.

yes, but unbolt the 3 10mm bolts that hold the whole assembly to the car to be able to move it around
