ABS/Traction control +++
Ok guys, here's the scoop.
1998 XJ8, dash lights for ABS and Stability Cotrol failure. Drivers door window not working. Moon roof wouldn't stay open (opened fie, but automatically closed w/in 10 seconds!). Car operated at normal speeds. Wheel spin sensors ok. ABS module plug connections ok. I sent the module to "UpFix". No shipping charges.
They tested and found a bad resistor or transistor or something. I don't care. Total cost $119.00! Five days. They even said if it had tested out ok, there wouldn't have been ANY CHARGE. No dash lights, drivers door window & moon roof both work. Haven't checked CC yet (that quit, too).
Don't waste your time if you're getting multiple issues. It's probably the ABS.
