Hi,

I am just looking for some advice please. I would like to find some parts for a 98 XJ Sport and I am in Australia. I don't mind getting them shipped over and paying for shipping and have bought parts from members of other forums. I am after the centre console (rear) air vents (just the black vents), a black trim cover (gear shift surround) for centre console which can incorporate the two buttons for cruise control and sports mode and also to find out where to buy a new or used transponder and uncut key. I don't really trust ebay but I have a paypal account and find that seems to be a safe option. Any advice please on where these sorts of things can be found or if anyone on the forum has these parts for sale? I have tried a few Australian wreckers/salvage companies with no luck.

I have bought and sold 138 items on eBay with 100% success. With only two transactions that I was unhappy with, both of the sellers refunded my money. As you most likely already know, in the upper right hand corner of a posted advert, under the seller’s name lists the total transactions of the seller and the percentage of positive feedback. Seeing high numbers and high percentages are indicators of an honest, principled seller.
