AFR / Timing Advance; MAP Based?

Default AFR / Timing Advance; MAP Based?
Is the air/fuel ratio MAP based or throttle position? How about timing advance? I assume the AFR is MAP. If so is it in KPA or INHG?

I guess it would depend a lot on what engine management you are discussing.
