Alarm and central locking

Alarm and central locking
I have a 2002 xj8se and the key fob has stopped working, no alarm, no central locking etc, and yes i have changed the battery.is there a seperate battery for this located within the car,or could it be a fuse has blown? Appreciate any help on this.thanks
