I picked up the 03 VDP today. A couple minor issues... The cigarette lighters don't work. Will check the fuses tomorrow as neither will operate the cigarette lighter or a (known working) phone charger). The passenger side rear view mirror doesn't move properly with the switch. I thought it might be the points on the switch, but it would affect the driver's side too in which it doesn't in this case. Gremlins. GRRRR!!!!

Be careful on the cigar lighter fuses. They changed location between the model years!

You're telling me! Lol I found that this model has seven fuse box locations and was able to find the correct one and replace the 25 amp fuse and the lighters works fine noe

Jim, thanks so much for posting the 2000 XJ owners handbook on Dropbox. I bought a 2002 XJ Sport from a friend who was the original owner but he'd lost the manual. Finding an a pdf copy of an owners handbook online seemed impossible. I just bought a used manual set on EBay, but your copy will get me through some instrument panel questions my friend can't answer. Thanks so much! Marc

My car is a 1999 and most of the stuff in the manual is the same. I think the 2000-2003 manuals were the same anyways. I just like having the searchable electronic copy rather than having to schlep to the car to retrieve my paper copy.
