My am radio in my 2001 XJ8 will not come in! Ugh, my sons picked up my car and broke the Antenna accidentally, which they replaced but we cannot get the am stations to come in, any ideas? 💡

 

I guess the antenna is not installed correctly? Did it work BEFORE the aerial was broken???

There are also settings that some Countries use that are NOT compatible with other Countries. Are the radio settings correct.

We need more info.

You don't provide a location. There are odd/even radio frequencies available worldwide.

we live in Southeast Michigan, USA
First when car picked up, they didn't check the am stations only FM, then broke the antenna, bought a new one and replaced it, FM sounds great, but still no am
