Default Another Jag Confession...

I confess to enjoy pulling up to a red light next to another car which the owner thinks is luxurious and letting the finely polished leaper creep into his peripheral vision.

Am I bad?

SirJag

P.S. Hey... at least I don't pull in front of him so he has to stare at all the polished walnut burl and English picnic tables. That proves I DO have a heart!

LOL, picnic tables make a huge difference indeed considering MB W221 cost a lot of money with that option .

I like it when I go onto the motorway and people are eeking all they can out their engines with a lot of noise. I then comfortably cruise past them with the cruise control, climate control and stereo on. Just for added effect, and not deliberately either, I'll have a smile on my face.

SirJag: I do the same as you, but without the leaper (they weren't installed on European versions) The long bonnet is more than enough to catch their attention!

These are beautiful cars and people respect them.

I LOVE the way you wrote this. It's steamy and funny all at the same time.

My confession:

I thoroughly enjoyed aimlessly driving around Rutgers University knowing I was the only one at my school who owned an XJ Sport. Boy that was short lived.

Haha. I do the same thing in college. It gets quite a bit of attention.

I love just going for a drive in my XJ but sadly at the moment it isn't an option in the UK

With petrol prices currently averaging at £1.35 ($2.19) a litre or £6.07 ($9.88) a gallon and them being on the rise almost daily I really can't afford to just take a drive. Its not just because its a V8 Jag either, my friend is struggling to get to work in his Renault Megane and one guy I know has actually had to put his car off the road and ride a push bike 8 miles to work each day because the running costs are just disgusting bad.

Diesel is even more at £1.40 ($2.27) a litre ($10.25 a gallon) and that puts my career at risk with me being a Coach Driver using Diesel powered vehicles.

The other day I watched the Mad Max Films for old times sake, but sadly the world is becoming more and more like it with each passing day (at least in Europe)

Sorry to put a downer on this thread but I needed to vent that! LOL

I think I remember you posting numbers like this before. Amazing. Makes me happy to pay $4.15 US per gallon... Well, NOT Happy, but happier than you.

I did post numbers like this but they were less than what I quoted this time.

They are set to rise to £1.50 a litre I read today.

And not just in relation to scarcity of fuel either.
