Gents, Looking for two items that someone here may have laying around would consider selling for my 2001 X308 XJR

1) The Jaguar boot badge. Jaguar Badge Trunk Emblem XJ8 "Jaguar" Part # HND5995AA

2) The front passenger side carper retaining plastic clip

Please PM me if you have one or both items as you will definitely save me a trip to the Jag dealership.

 

Check the junk yards near by your city, see if they have any cars similar to your MY, if they allowed to "you-pull-it" they'll very cheap.

 

The boot badge is shared with a few models like the X Type, S Type and later X350 XJ, you can also get them in green for the X300. You should find one cheap on eBay.

By carpet clip, are you referring to the one that holds the mat in place? I have one somewhere, you can have it free but it would be posted to you from the uk when I find it.

 

Thanks Gents. I will try the local breakers in my area. The boot badge for my model is grey in color and the cheapest one I have found on eBay is around $80.

@Stu 1986: Yes, I am referring to the clip that holds the mat in place. I will PM you my shipping address Sir and would gladly also remit payment for the shipping expense via PayPal. I come home to the UK often, but the next trip is towards Ireland as we conclude this year. I sincerely appreciate your help with this.

 

You could always buy a used button for £20 with a good badge on and change it. Like this one.
