I was just approached by 2 gang bangers that happened to drive by and see my XJ8 Sport. One asked if I would sell it. Told him $6500. He wants it and took my number.
Anything is for sale for the right price.

you state that their gang bangers, chances are they could be honest, or maybe not. unless you really want to be rid of it ;i'd pass on the sale.

 

Everything is for sale, it's only a matter of price. An older guy approached me when I was leaving my local junkyard and just asked "do you want to sell your car?". The old boy still looks very nice, even being 20yrs old w/ 155K. I said "Sure". He asked how much. I said $10K. That stopped the conversation, lol.

 

Exactly right. I'm not looking to get rid of it but for the right price... I went thru 5 Bonnevilles in 3 years. I'd buy one and sure enough someone would offer way more than I paid and it was gone. I'd go buy another one. I finally decided to just keep the last one as they were getting harder to find in good shape. Pontiac quit making them in 05. I like the fully loaded SLEs and they all had the bulletproof 3.8. Had one SC'd and one V8 too.
The price on this XJ8 Sport just went up. I told him once I started in on my mods it would. They were gang bangers for sure. The tats gave it away. I don't doubt their ability to pay. Drug $$$ most likely. Haven't heard from them so far.
