Auto Headlight Problem

Hey guys,
Had my 2002 XJ Super sitting in the garage for the past two years as I traveled around the country for work. Finally got home and decided its time to give some attention to my old girl. She only has 64K and is real clean but her age is starting to show just a bit. Tonight I replaced the rear view mirror thanks some jerk at the local windshield repair place being to rough with it. Anyway on to my issue... My auto headlight function stopped working. They work fine in manual mode but no joy if I leave them on auto. Any idea where I should start? I have pretty good relationship with the local dealer and he usually cuts me 20% off list.
Next weekend I hope to have the time to do a tune up, replace the serpentine belt and get some new rubber. Then its off to the body shop to repair a few dents caused by careless people in parking lots.
Thanks
RK

does anyone have a picture of the plug that goes into the mirror? I got a mirror with the wires out, so I need to figure out the sequence for reconnection. I've got yellow, green, black, white, grey, but don't know the sequence to plug them back into the yellow plug. My car has the Auto Dim and Auto Headlight features.
Thank you in advance.

I have a mirror off my '00 XJR lying in my garage and it has the correct connectors and hasn't been messed about with (only replaced it because the autodim failed) Unfortunately (on many levels) I'm currently in Taiwan :-(
I'll be back mid next week and will check this thread again to see if you've got your answer..... if not I'll take you a pic mate

Dont' know if you found the info already, but here's a few pics of the mirror wiring....

Taking the locator pin as 6 o'clock, as working clockwise, the colours are : Grey, white, yellow, green, red, blue brown, black

With the locator pin on the left, the colours are red, purple, blue, going from left to right
