Looking for some direction on which BBS wheels will work with our X308 XJR. Was searching on the web and saw the Montreal, Detroit and Sepangs 20 inch wheels listed with some vendors, but some of the wheels listed came off later model 04-05 vehicles. Can someone please clarify which specific BBS wheel types are compatible with 00 - 03 XJR?

 

The ones from the X100 XK8/XKR will fit. But if you go 20" be careful with the tyre size.

The wheels from the later XJ are a completely different bolt pattern and will not fit, same as the S-Type...

 

Thank you. One more question, the XJR100 has the BBS wheels , but are they staggered? The used BBS wheels I am finding online are with wider wheels in the back vs. the front as they are from an XKR. I am not sure if the wider set up will work with the XJR, hence seeking this clarification.

 

XKR,s have wider BBS 10J wheels on the back with 285 tires .
Jaguar recommends that 255 35 20 is the widest tire for an XJ X308 ,so you need 4 front 20" wheels from an XKR wich are 9J ,The rare XJR 100 BBS wheel is 19" 9J with 255 35 19 tire.

You can fit the 10's in the rear, but you may need to roll your guards slightly. Not completely sure, but I believe if you run a 275 tyre, rather than 285, then this helps as well
