Best method of hiding subwoofer/amp wires
Hi,
If there is a current thread for this, please link it below!
I am in the process of researching a whole speaker upgrade in the car and the remaining part of my research is understanding how I can hide the wiring.
Without looking inside the car to scheme a plan, I can only imagine removing the rear seats to drill a hole, however, that is where my imagination stops.
The cables are not exactly thin so I would not know how to hide them under the carpet.
Edit - found a video showing exactly what needs doing.

if you had cd changer but not using it anymore you could just use its harness, it goes from boot straight to the radio problem solved, otherwise there is a rubber plug behind fuel tank i think right side top, you gonna find it easily after removing rear seat rest, a bit hard to reach but no need to drill anything and with some wiggle you will have your cables on the other side
Had had a big amp in the trunk with a sub box. Had it in there for about 15 years. Cut out holes in the deck and sounded ok. However, I put in an under-seat sub and it works very well. People riding in the car can't believe it sounds that good. Now I have enough room in the trunk for all my golf stuff. When I had it in the trunk I I was able to get all the cables from the front along the drivers door up the back seat and came in to the drivers side by the gas tank and just under the deck.
