Default Black Wax

I see Meguiar's has a new product called Black Wax for dark and black cars. Has anyone tried it? I wonder if the dry wax dust is dark so it doesnt show so bad on a black car...think I'll give it a try this weekend.

I use black wax to help hide the check marks- works pretty good.

I think most detail manufacturers make something for dark/black cars, poor boys black hole is popular, I use autoglym products and find their ultra deep shine is the boss, this detailers forum has a thread on these two....for starters....
Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine / Poorboys Black Hole & HD Cleanser - Detailing World

It's much better to correct it than hide it I've found, most products last at most a few months, whereas a good 2 or 3 step system brings out the best in black Jags, no question. The bitch is the work involved in what is a big car.

I never tried the black wax, I use a random orbit buffer and the McGuire's Microfiber paint correction system.

When I was looking for my Jag, I told my wife "just don't let me buy a black one."

Well, the perfect one came along and it was black so............I bought it.

I didn't get to dry her immediately after a wash the other day and I'm blessed with water spots now.

Time to get out the Porter Cable and touch up the shine a bit.

My wife says it gives me something to do and my God it looks good when its clean and shiny!
