i thought i would share my recent entertainment upgrade to show my appreciation for forum and members.
firstly purchase cd changer (i didnt have one) then follow cd changer butcher/hack kindly shared by forum members .
secondly route 3.5 audio jack from said cd changer to centre console plug in bluetooth and enjoy..
have some pics everyone likes pics yeah.

pic1 is of right rear seat corner where cable was hidden can see underneath of bottom rear seat foam on boot through window.

pic2 cable traversing down and across centre hump.

pic3 across hump and under luxury jag carpet (thats a top quality screwdriver also in pic you just cant buy that sort of quality no more).

pic4 coming out from carpet and arriving at rear of centre console.

pic5 cable attached to my weapon of choice of pushing under and out of carpet (i did take it from antenna port put it back have radio again now)

pic6 funky little bluetooth number playing all sorts of goodies. (not quite in its final resting place though).

jobs a good one sounds really very good volume is excellent also added pleasure of handsfree phone all for 40 pounds sterling inclusive of cd changer.

so to all for this forum without you i would not be enjoying this

Looks good, where do you plan on placing that unit as a final resting place?

 

was thinking just left of j-gate surround (top left) small incision for cable and all that would be exposed is bluetooth unit.

 

Here is my solution for an Aux input, this was the easiest option for me and it works flawlessly.

evening yeah seen thread for restoration great stuff.
aux input good choice,mine was a choice of simple control for music and phone function that will not need phone to be in view.
plus it was cheap.
