Hey guys, anyone know where i can find good prices on brembo calipers. i have a 1998 xjr with red calipers that say "brembo" on them

You might have 1 of a few different versions of caliper.

 

I called Brembo, and they told me I had to buy the whole front set upgrade for $3800. They said I could try to find someone to re-build the caliper. Do a lot of mechanics do this? I haven't had time to call yet. They also told me to call the dealer, because they can maybe get me the same caliper. Any jag techs know if this is true? I have been playing phone tag with the dealer all day. Thanks guys

 

Ouch! That's almost half of the retail value of the whole car anymore. I gotta admit I'm very thankful I don't need racing brakes to drive to work :P

Looks an averageof about $65/each for new calipers for my standard XJ8, as wellI got all rotors/brakes for $239 shipped. Goodluck man hopefully they hook you up.
