Its tougher because it rarely gets removed...but as Eric said, don't worry, its sturdy. Plus it has the tethers on on it so it doesn't kill the passenger when the airbag deploys (something to think about with the Mother-in-law on board,...did I really say that). So don't worry you can't drop it either.

 

One thing: Disconnect the battery before your attempt!

 

For anyone on the hunt for a clock bulb & doesn't want to get pillaged to tune of $20 for a single tiny bulb. EiKO Clear 2721MF incandescent bulb readily found @ O'reilly's etc. $3.99 for 2 works perfect, just be sure to save your blue cap/filter.
