Infomation on cooling hoses - inlet &outlet
Hi goodz42u
Here it is: OES1656883 at Auto Parts Way.com
Can't find part for sale anywhere-1999-xjr-cooling-hose-oes1656883-.jpg

Auto Parts Warehouse website says this part W0133-1656883 is sold out.
I checked first in the Jaguar EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog)

Can't find part for sale anywhere-1999-xjr-cooling-hoses-part-numbers.jpg

Then I tried to find other places that might sell this part: (JagBits and Rock Auto Parts.com) Also Gaudin Jaguar.com (forum sponsor call them gives forum members discount and free shipping).

1999 XJR cooling hoses.pdf

I am not sure if these parts are the ones you want (hard to tell from diagrams).

Jim:

You're looking in the wrong section, this hose is not under radiator/hoses but rather under A/C and heating

Jaguar would not discontinue this type of hose just after a few years.

The part # was MNE6733BE but has superceded to MNC6733AE and show to be available at any Jag dealer

You are looking at a special hose that is designated for a specific application. All you can do is try to bargain or get it used. A used one may last your duration of ownership, then again it might not! You get what you pay for! Call Ken at Jaguar Parts, Land Rover Parts, MINI Cooper Parts | New, Reman, Used & Salvage Parts and see what he can do for you. They were sponsors on this forum.

The dealers normally stock all the hoses - check with one of the online dealers if you do not have a dealer close by.

Factoring the installation time and coolant - I would get a new one.

The link IS that part in the cart, showing stock. Just in case, I removed the part from my cart, searched on the number again, and it shows in stock... so maybe while in MY cart, it was tied up? Try it again - this time put it in YOUR cart. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...=W0133-1736225

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been searching around for the last thee days trying to find the hose in this diagram, MNC6733AE. I had no idea of a part number or what it was called. A search for heater hose brought up everything but this hose. A search for heater hose layout, up until this point, was fruitless.

Hi
Gaudin Jaguar online parts website show MNC6733AE retail price of $171.50 discounted to $139.34 plus they usually charge about $15.00 shipping.

Jaguar of Greenville gives forum members a 15% discount and free shipping on purchases of $25 or more (their price will probably be closer to $150, but no shipping charge).

Amazon has MNC6733AE for $126.00 plus $18.99 shipping.

I think I would rather buy it from a Jaguar Parts online dealer or ask your local Jaguar Parts for a special price.

Vendor Errors
I recently had the "Death Rattle" in my 99 XJ8. Changed the Secondary Tensioners just in time. However, I purchased the repair parts from Welsh Enterprises. THE WORST PURCHASE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!. They shipped my two left hand tensioners instead of a Left and a Right. They shipped two right hand Cam cover gaskets, They shipped Longer than OEM bolts, rather than the shorted that were required. Every item I orderd was screwed, worst off they charged me to fix their shipping errors. I have been promised a credit but that was 2 weeks ago, and nothing. Dragged this out over a whole month get the right parts. I finally just purchased duplicate parts from another Jag dealer. But... My though behind this is, I would realy like to see more options in the Vender directory. When you hear of other members that get good service, thats were I want to give my business.
