Don't worry about this - what you hear is the small mechanism that releases the gearbox switch. The idea is that you are allowed to change from parking to a driving gear (D or R) only while holding the brakes. Some kind of prevention measure. So the clicking sound is nothing else than that. You can even feel it by holding the switch or by passing your ear next to it
