anyone know where i can get a cheap dead pedal...i just can't rationalize paying $175 for one from arden or mina...any other alternatives...i was thinking of even putting a block of wood there as my jag doesn't have a dead pedal

 

How about a block of wood .... rosewood ... topped with a sheet of brass

edit: maybe go down to the trophy store and pick up a wall plaque of the right size. they can even engrave whatever you like on it.

 

My 01XJR do have a dead pedal molded in the carpet with rubber/plastic covering.
Are you saying that your's don't or you want to bring it higher?

 

Yeah, I would like to have one also, to raise the height of what's there a bit. If you find a reasonable solution, but sure to let us know. I think I paid around $60 for a full set of gas, brake, clutch, and dead pedal for my bimmer. Wish it was that easy with jag. Hmmm.... wonder if one for some bimmer model could be made to work?

 

Only dead pedal I want is a clutch on mine.

 

mine doesn't have a dead pedal at all...just the carpet...
