Default Child seat anchors

Hello all,

I have some pretty ugly little brackets on my rear parcel shelf, and I assume they are for child seats. Are these standard, and if so, are there any covers available for them?

If not I guess I'll pull them out and try to find some plastic plus a similar colour to the rest of the car!

Thanks!

Dave

No, they're not standard. If you remove them, use fir tree clips to push into the holes.

Hello Dave,
Yes, they are standard....on export models at least....my sovereign has them.
I removed two of them an dretained one.
You can getreplacement colour coded plastic screws to replace the brackets and also little plastic covers that flip up when you want to use the bracket.
I got mine from British Spares UK...and there are others....have a word with Trivetts, Jagdaim, Roadbend.

Cheers,
Maximus

The correct terminology for those are called "tether anchors".

I have had to purchase the color coded covers. Once upon a time here in the states they were available as covers only, now they come with the metal anchor and bolt at about $50.00 ea., what a bummer.

The dealer has the covers or can order them. They are color coded to your interior.
