Default Clear Turn Signal / Indicator And Side Marker Lenses. Anyone Interested?

I know Klearz used to make light assemblies with clear lenses for the front turn signals and marker lights but they are out of production now. I have been talking to a few manufacturers about making clear lenses and am trying to see if anyone is still interested in them?

These would be lenses ONLY...you will have to bake your existing lights and take the orange lens off and install the clear lens. Sure, there is some work involved but it beats having the orange lenses if you ask me.

Pricing is still up in the air...obviously with a higher quantity of lenses, the price gets cheaper.

Yes, add me too.

One word of warning though; I remember that one of the original suppliers (perhaps Klearz?) warned that it was very hard to remove the lens from the plastic fitting.
That time they asked for 2 sets of samples, one to break the lens and keep the fitting, one to break the fitting and keep the lens.
Considering how weak the plastic fitting is (some of mine broke while removing the bulb) I am not sure these DIY replacements will be all a success.

That is an interesting point. I wonder why it is so hard to separate the lens from the housing. It should be able to come off if you heat it in the oven, I would think.

I am into this, but I too have had trouble taking the lens off an old broken one that I want to to try and epoxy.

I emailed the klearz guys maybe 6 months ago about this, and they didn't seem too interested as they had an overload of business in other areas...but maybe that has changed.
