Default correct wheels

Hi all,

I have xkr on 20" wheels and I need to put it on winter tires. Therefore I decided to buy a set of 18" wheels for the winter.

I found out that I need rims:
8Jx18x33
9Jx18x35

could someone please decode these numbers for me? Including the J symbol?
and there are 5 bolts, but what should be the "bolt distance"?

also general remarks about the wheel/tire change are welcomed.

thanks a lot.

Default

8j / 9j is width in inches.
18 is rim diameter in inches.
33/35 is height of tyre from rim in mm.

stud diameter is 120.6

Angry Wring wheels

Hi all,

I have a xkr MY 2001 siverstone edition (has brembo brakes). Originally it is on 20" wheels. For the winter I bought 18" wheels. Before buying it I contacted a Jaguar dealer, they sent me a list of compatible wheels. And according to it they should fit.

But they don't. The wheels I bought are called IMPELLER part numbers:
MJE6118AA front
MJE6118AB back

the front ones don't fit, the spokes are touching the brakes.

Could you please tell me how to recognize the correct wheels? I have to buy another set and I need to be sure.

thanks.
