Default Cover For My Kitty

Hello!!

OK, this may sound a little crazy but I'm interested in buying a car cover for my XJ. The reason behind this is because I went away for a week a few months back and left my XJ on the drive. When I returned, the gleaming, pampered car I left behind was now covered in dust and cat paw prints. Now I know some of you may be thinking "Just take it the car wash" but what I'm more bothered about the Cat(s) climbing on it, as I don't want any scratches.

What I'm after is an waterproof outdoor car cover, because I'll be away for a fortnight next time. Has anyone got a cover for their XJ?
I'm UK based but any US imports wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks Guys!!

Thanks Sean, that's more or less what I'm after. I did check Ebay but the one on there was an indoor only one for about the same price ast XKZ's. I'd put the car in the garage if it wasn't for the fact that A) It won't fit down the side of the house because it's too wide and B) The garage is occupied by my 71 Triumph Herald.

Thanks for the heads up!!

Hey Stu, sorry to hear about your dust / cat problem mate
Just remember though....if you've looked at / checked detailing world it can sometimes be just as costly covering / uncovering and recovering your car and it can cause its own set of problems.
Might be cheaper to get a dog / .22 or similar

The dust comes over from the Farm, which was there before Jaguar was created so I suppose that wins!! :P I have heard about issues covering cars, but I only want to cover it whilst I'm away for long periods of time. After my airport issues (See: Airport Parking, don't bother) I'm reluctant to leave it anywhere like that. Thinking about it, the cover will likely only be used about twice a year.

The .22 may come in handy for the neighbor's dogs though....(5 Jack Russels, not good.)
