Dead 1999 XJ8

My 1999 XJ8 died. Seems like fuel problem. Does the 1999 have a fuel shut off switch? If so, does anyone know the location of the switch in the car ?

Check the Inertia switch in the bud of the car.

Inertia switch is behind the passenger kick panel . Remove panel and its up beside the firewall. If the switch goes off you'll have other problems. Other lights gearbox light. You probably need a fuel pump. Check fuel pressure

If you think its fuel, if you don't have a fuel test rig, just replace the fuel pump relay, a cheap check. Fuel pump relay replacement is good PM anyway, they work hard and get hot.
