just wondering what the difference was.I can find the pig tail to the 002 but not the 010.ive read up on how to adapt my wiring to the 010 but just wanted to know the difference

 

the difference is the plug and the liter per min. 010 flows more both are an improvement .

i cut the plastic plug off around the 010 pins , actually cut the pins back to nearly flush about 0.5mm remaining , and soldered the hella cable and plug to it .
then a dollop of urethane over it to strengthen the join . and protect it .

 

When I did mine I just spliced the wires and used a connector. You won't regret the change. It moves a lot more water.
The impeller housing is plenty bigger.

I installed the Bosch intercooler pump for croba mustang

 

I put the 010 on my car due to the improved flow rate and the dirt cheapiness of the pump compared to the dead hella unit. The 002 seems regularly pretty close in price to the 010 unit ($5-10 difference is what I'm seeing with the 010 more expensive).
