Anyone know where the dimmer module is located on a 98 XJ8? My wiring diagram says it's under the instrument cluster but the only module i see is for the keyless entry.

 

PART NUMBER NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I found the dimmer module. Kinda hidden. It's just a black box a few square inches in size Located directly behind the keyless entry module. It does not say anything other than the following part number. LIA 6490 AC. I was wondering if anyone could verify this part number or at least give me the part number of the dimmer module used in a 1998 XJ8 according to Jaguar. My Jaguar dealer does not want to give me any part numbers.

 

For the record.

Dimmer module is located below the instrument cluster to the right of the steering wheel. Easiest way to get to it is to remove the floor heat duct on the drivers side then reach up and yanker out. Part number: LJA-6490-AC
