My 00 XJR is not low on coolant or leaking any, but the low coolant light is in on. Have been searching how to temporarily adjust the stuck sensor or simply replace it. Found a link from Gus, but don’t see the steps to get it out. Can someone please help and point in the direction of the DIY? I have never done this on any vehicle so will need some guidance and any help wold be much appreciated.

Many thanks for your assistance. Thanks to the great info here I fixed the issue, had to stir the coolant tank with a thin plastic spatula and it fixed the issue .
