So I just saw a pic of Joolz purple jag and I was blown away. I didn't know that color was ever done! If you could have a Jag of any color you wanted what would it be?

 

Dark red, dark green or dark blue, all with ivory interior.
I know I am not very original ... , but it simply fits the car the best.

 

There are two colours I love to bits:

#1: Volvo Java Brown Pearl (my old Volvo had that colour as a bodykit and parts):


#2: Jaguar S-Type Green Metallic (the colour the racecar had):


As I need to respray my "Meteorite Pearl" XJ8, I'll be choosing one of those two colours. I am more attracted to the Java Brown Pearl though, as it has more facetts to it and sparkles! It also highlights curves and angles

 

So I did some research on that purple color. It is called Amaranth and for the XJ it was only done in 1998 and 1999 on the VDP. Well there goes my dream of a purple XJR!

In the process as we speak, i'll shoot it as soon as I get some constant 70 degree weather. So wet sanded and buffed by end of April? Its 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Tour De France French Racing Blue. A bit more "pastel" compared to Jaguar's FRB in my opinion. Cant wait!!

 

Westminster Blue ( wait I already have it! )

As a second I would go with British Racing Green.
