I am having a few problems with my car that I think are all somehow related.

1. The puddle light does not come on for my driver's door.

2. I cannot unlock my doors thru the central locking button on the dash.

3. Opening the driver's door does NOT unlock the other doors.

All key fob functions work.
The display showing driver's door open/closed DOES work.
I just replaced the driver's door lock module and that did not change anything.

I would assume if the microswitch was bad on the latch I would be getting a "Driver's Door Open" warning even if the door was closed.

Any idea where to start???

I had the same problem. I removed the LF door's lock/motor unit, cleaned it, greased it, and the problem goes away.

If it is not working for you, maybe one of the cable or cables broke in the rubber hose that is between the door's body, and the car's body.
