Emissions Leak Problem
I am getting a P0455 code with my check engine light coming on.
According to JTIS it is detecting a major system leak. As a "shadetree" mechanic is there anyway I could diagnose/find the leak? Any suggestions/tricks to finding it.
I actually do not care if the evaporative emissions system is working, I just don't want my check engine light on! :-)

I just had an EVAP small leak on mine that I was able to resolve myself so maybe I can help. First, look under the car and just in front of the differential on both sides will be what I think is the charcoal cannisters. Inspect these and the hoses for any damage. If everything looks good there go to the trunk. Take the interior parts out of the trunk and inspect the hoses on top of the tank and over at the gas fill. The problem with mine was a small split in the short rubber hose on top of the tank. My problem was obvious once I got to the right place. Hope you are as lucky.
