Default Engine timing

Okay, I messed up. I went in to change the timing chain tensioners on my 1998 Jaguar XJ8 and both of my cams got out of time. So I took the main chain off and turned each of the cams individually and used a cam locking tool on both of them so they are both in time. The thing that worries me is the crankshaft, how do I get it so that it’s in time with the cams?

Purchase the following.....................

Use the timing kit as described to time the cams to the crankshaft.

Please download a copy of my Jaguar training course 168. It is all over the internet and Gus has it on his site.

The Jaguar Training Course 180 will also have the info but it is the V8 ONLY whereas the 168 includes the V6.
